    Pros

    The mission: to make healthcare affordable, understandable, and accessible to all. Sana's values: to empower others, be clear, build the future, and align incentives The culture: never have I worked for a company where mental health is prioritized and work/life balance is praised and encouraged. This behavior is modeled from the top down. As a female and a mother, to see male leadership taking time away to balance childcare and mental rest days with work is empowering and validating. The people: everyone is kind and collaborative and when I say everyone, I mean EVERYONE. I have been here over a year and have never had unhealthy friction or conflict with any of my colleagues. Everyone is truly professional and strives to model our values in all they do.

    Cons

    This is a startup, so it may not be for you if you: - don't like or can't handle autonomy - don't like change - don't want to innovate or be a decision maker - don't have grit - don't want to do a single solitary thing outside your job description

    Pros

    I don't feel like a number here. I have been impressed by the transparency and caring culture from my first interaction with the recruiter to my everyday interactions months later. Is every day perfect? No. But it feels like we're in it together and building something that matters. Customer experience is at the center of decision-making. My team's personal and professional development seem equally important. Leadership actively models burnout prevention and discourages logging in after-hours or on PTO. This is a first in my career. They recently hosted a Wellness Week when they could have easily cancelled or brushed off during our busy season. Kudos for investing the time and resources into something often overlooked by traditional healthcare.

    Cons

    Internal communications tools could be streamlined. There are a lot of tools that feel cobbled together.

    Pros

    An organization that stays true to their values and mission. Everyone they hire is so friendly and willing to help. An innovative environment that is not afraid of changes. Amazing benefits. Such a supportive environment. Flexible schedule. Room for growth and opportunity within the organization.
