Pros

Everyone I work with is extremely nice. Many people are very committed to what's best for the patients. There is a lot of good experience working with large data sets and learning about healthcare.

Cons

Raises are typically 2% unless it's a bad year, then 1%. Low morale at times.

    Negative Outlook

I have been working at Sanford Health full-time

    Pros

Small town hospital that has a lot of family working in one place. That can be good in some areas. Started a cardiac program to care for community rather than sending them to Fargo

    Cons

There are many areas where the family members are toxic and incompetent. Leadership is one of those. Hospital run by a group of local residents that don't have the skills to lead a hospital

    Advice to Management

You need someone who actually knows how to make an assessment of a business and how the parts mesh (or don't) and make the changes to get this business focused on the community. Not likely to happen since the corporate or parent organization is focused on the bottom line without actually understanding what that means. Saving money on a daily basis and losing more money because the programs implemented are shortsighted
