Pros

- Open, transparent and non hierarchical culture
- resposibilities assigned based on impact you make, not on title
- get to work with big clients on some of the most complex work
- no glass ceiling

Cons

- not a place if you cannot deal with ambiguities
- highly matrixed structure, things are not always black and white
- work hard, party hard culture, not the place you want to retire

Advice to Management

- get staffing to develop rounded views and not just singular focus on utilization
- allow individuals to develop specialization in areas

    Approves of CEO

    Pros

Great coworkers. Big clients. Laid back atmosphere.

    Cons

On some large projects, a great deal of creatives work together. This is not a bad thing, but I prefer to have a little more creative control.

    Advice to Management

From my experience as an intern, the leadership seems great. The creative directors do a great job of running the creative.

    No opinion of CEO

    Pros

SApient is a great place to work. The reecruting team is very professional. The Sales team is very competent. The gym and sauna facility in the NYC office is something that everyone looks forward to. Also the fact that certain key individuals get 40 days paid vacation in USA is unheard of.

    Cons

The executive management spends a lot of money on themselves. Need to share the money and income with other people. The recruting team in India is very incompetent. Need some serious leadership changes there. The Sales team is fantastic although they overcommit and we developers have to suffer.

    Advice to Management

Focus on the people. It is important to pay people well. Just throwing rave parties and disco events does not motivate people. Leadership for recruting in India sucks and should be changed immediately.
