I have been working at Sarnova full-time

Pros

Great health benefits and vacation time

Cons

This company runs on nepotism. The only employees that receive advancement are the family & friends of the management team. Spiff programs are never paid in full and the management team is known for punishing the employees that voluntarily resign by providing bad/untrue reviews. The sales quotas are so high you run yourself out of a job after 12 months.

    Pros

Good environment to work. Nice colleagues. People knows what their responsibilities are and willing to make the company better.

    Cons

ERP system is not that good. They're using Microsoft GP instead of SAP. Working laptop is quite old.

    Advice to Management

Maybe you can upgrade our IT equipment? Sometimes the laptop is the one who delays the work.

I worked at Sarnova full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Excellent benefits, competitive wages, great customer base

There are a lot of employee appreciation-related events that show someone, somewhere cares (although, in customer service, you will NEVER participate)... if you work in a different department.

    Cons

This is a call center job, though saying that is akin to using a curse word in the department. You are micro-managed in all regards, even if you prove yourself. You can exceed all expectations, and unless you're one of the elite "favorites", nothing you do will ever be good enough. Unless they need something from you. Also, make sure you don't get sick, have a family emergency, or have someone die, because you can pretty much forget about them working with you. Management will talk poorly and unprofessionally about you, their management, any co-workers, etc. to anyone who will listen. This place is an HR nightmare. Despite being well over-qualified, you will not get promoted. Also, the no cell phone rule is strictly enforced, so in the event that you have urgent personal matters to attend to... you're out of luck.

If you are hard-working, honest, driven, career-minded, or kind, please listen to me - look elsewhere.

    Advice to Management

Stop micro-managing solid employees. Be honest about job descriptions. Quit playing favorites. Understand when life comes up. Learn how to be professional, honest, compassionate human beings so your employees can feel appreciated instead of having a knot in their stomach coming to work everyday.
