I have been working at Schletter full-time (More than a year)

Pros

Great bonuses and holiday time off
Well put together company holiday parties
Everyone is friendly and there's no drama or favoritism, for the most part

Cons

Everyone starts at 7am and gets two 30 minute breaks each day - at the same time
Expect to sit at your computer all day - no matter your position
No clear plan for the company or career paths
Very low pay - not competitive
Pretty relaxed requirements - if you're okay being able to get by doing the minimum, this is the job for you

I worked at Schletter (More than 3 years)

    Pros

    Benefits, co workers, decent wage...
We used to have potlucks, Christmas parties, bonuses. Etc... Then we changed managers.
    See cons for further details.

    Cons

    The manager
    The HR department
    The gossip
The constant fluctuation of company policy
    The shortage of hours
The change of every department head with no training provided.

This is literally the job from hell.
It is fun if you don't have a brain between your ears and you just come and go as you please, but if you want a job that you can take seriously and grow from; look anywhere else!

    Advice to Management

Try taking an actual training course.
Maybe one that can teach you some interpersonal skills? One that will tell you what not to say to employees, a prime example being "why does it take you so long to understand things, how have you worked here for this long"

I have been working at Schletter full-time

    Pros

I have worked for Schletter Inc., a leading manufacturer of solar mounting systems, since September 2009.
Schletter is on the forefront of renewable energy technology as it relates to solar mounting systems. To maintain the lead, Schletter employs a diverse workforce with a wide range of skillsets.
As an Engineer for Schletter I have had the chance to manage projects, travel, develop product and most importantly work with some outstanding individuals. Renewable energy is one of the fastest growing segments in the US economy and work can sometimes be difficult, however with a good group of people anything is possible.

    Cons

It would be hard to find another company that can compete with Schletter.

    Advice to Management

Great Management team across the board. The group looks out for the company as whole.
