I worked at Schlumberger as an intern (Less than a year)

    Pros

The people are hardworking and the problems are challenging. Even as just an intern I was given the freedom to define my own project requirements and the flexibility to evolve that vision over time. My mentor was my greatest advocate and really took the time to make sure that I was getting the most out of the experience.

    Cons

Even though we were treated well as interns, it was obvious that the full-time employees were regularly over-worked. Salaries were not quite competitive with the rest of the industry.
