    Pros

    - You get a foot in the door with a global company, good for those who'd like to move around
    - Above average 401K match, fantastic stock purchase program that includes a generous match, pretty good healthcare benefits
    - Generous tuition reimbursement

    Cons

    - Not the best place to work when you're looking for telecommute. These jobs exist but are tough to come by
    - This is better for younger people who are more willing to pack up and move
    - Working between business units are not the smoothest
    - Parent company rolled out new pay scales that are far above what APC has always paid. We were told we'd get closer to the new payscale through annual raises but the company froze our wages this year (2012). Not cool
    - When you are being recruited you are told that you will get 1 or 2 promotions within the year. These promotions turn out to be unpaid promotions where you accept more responsibility for the same low pay.

    Advice to Management

Pay your existing employees better. And stop forcing people to come in 3 or 4 days per week when they can perform their jobs just as well at home.. Doing this would save on CO2 from having to drive in, I thought SE was a "green" company?
