Pros
Not many. I like most of my immediate co-workers. I like working with my customers.
Cons
I have a hard time with the sudden 'rave reviews'. The company is run as if a military unit. There is little flexibility. Just fired a gentleman who had 48 years in the company. Supposedly gave a 'raise' to all non-commisioned employees, but there were SO many strings attached, only a very few actually qualified. Just a marketing ploy. Firings are nothing unusual, from senior mgrs., to entry level. Keeping people frightened over if they continued to have a job seems to be top motivation technique. This used to be a company where NO one left. Now, over 75% of the employees have been there under 5 yrs., from the very top, to the bottom. Between firings, being forced out, or just can't take the stress anymore, the out door is much more heavily used, than the in door. Customer care area is hit the hardest. There is only one supervisor over most of care, where there used to be three. The seniors (lower level of mgr) run the show. Very little communication there. Work expectations, updates on accounts...all found out through the grapevine. Their quality area is headed by a person who does not know the customer base, can't speak to save his life, but is sure willing to cut down and judge others. The rave reviews are wrong. Just pass this place. Find one that will treat you with dignity and respect.
