    Pros

Great work environment. Management leaves you alone and is very concerned with your well-being. I feel appreciated and enjoy the work I do.

    Cons

Most employees are hired as seasonal and have to wait years to be hired on with benefits. Afraid of getting laid off, mandatory furloughs, low pay,

I worked at School Specialty full-time

    Pros

My coworkers were the best. They are highly skilled, smart, and helpful.

    Cons

Poor financial decisions are being made for the corporation.
Some divisions are trying to right those decisions but the leadership is weak and their hands are tied.

    Advice to Management

When Lavelle first started, I thought he understood the problem. He didn't act fast enough to fix it. Pick up the pace of cleaning up the mess of the previous CEO or the ship is going to sink. Get rid of products that are ruining your reputation so you have money to spend on the high quality products. Listen to experts in the field rather than those whose egos need to be stroked as they prop up failing products.
