Pros

Some divisions are better than others

Cons

Some business units were so poorly managed that their sales have drastically fallen over the past two years. Since these units represented more than 40% of total revenue, all units are paying the price, even if they are doing well independently.

Advice to Management

Spin-off/sell the most profitable parts of the company, so that they don't go down with the rest of the troubled parts.

    Pros

The only good thing I can say about this place is the people you work with are more than willing to help you out ( not management)..... also the customers are very very friendly and patient.

    Cons

    1. training was a joke I leaned for from a co worker than in class... but I will not says it the training departments fault completely (more management) 2. you are only aloud 5 minutes 3 times a week to take a unscheduled break... so basically if u have to use the bathroom....hold it. or else u might get written up. 3. they tell you alot of lies to get you in the door... then never make good on what they say or change stories once your an employee.

    Advice to Management

management...HAHA I report to a supervisor that is so over stressed she cant do her job right second upper management feels the need to mirco manage ever aspect of you job..... if you are going to run a call center run it like one... dont run it like a day care...... use programs that are suited for the call center envoirment!

    Pros

SSI has a lot of upside potential; great market share and a huge sales force. They are well-known and well respected by the market.

    Cons

This is a massively disfunctional company. A conglomeration of more than a dozen companies and rampant infighting among leaders. There is very little trust of management by the general employee ranks because of all the off-the-cuff firing (i.e. not justified) that goes on.

    Advice to Management

Manage in a fair, conscientious manner to build trust with employees; then appreciate and respect the contributions being made throughout the company.
