I have been working at Scientific Research full-time (Less than a year)

Pros

SRC has a diverse cadre of professionals who really care about getting the job done with quality and satisfaction to SRC's customers. SRC recognizes employees who have performed above and beyond their role and responsibilities.

Cons

I have only been with SRC for less than a year. I have not experienced any cons that are prevalent or seen with other corporations.

Advice to Management

SRC needs to continue to reward and recognize accomplishments and performance whether normal efforts or above and beyond their role and responsibilities.

I worked at Scientific Research full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Overall good benefits in the health and insurance area. Pay scale was on average with competition. They hold quarterly meetings, and put on a yearly Christmas party. When working OT they try to get you paid for the OT which many contractors for the government will not do.

    Cons

The company needs to improve upon their tuition reimbursement plan. They only offered $3,500 per year. The senior management from Atlanta could visit more often to show that employees not in their region are still being thought of.

I have been working at Scientific Research full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

The workhours are good, and it enables you to keep in contact with military contracting. The people are good to work with and try the best they can to get you continuing employment.

    Cons

Scientific Research Corp is basically a temp agency. The minute you are not against a contract, they will furlough you. Other defense contractors will put you "on the beach" for a period until the next contract.
