I have been working at ScriptPro full-time (More than a year)

Pros

1) If you're not looking to add anybody to your health insurance they have a HDHP that you don't have to pay anything for you. 2) Fitness center is small, but decent and could potentially keep you from having to pay a gym bill. 3) It's a job.

Cons

The biggest downside is that it's hard to find much satisfaction in your job. Everything you do you feel you're doing it so the family (Coughlins) lives a better life. The majority of the execs are family and the company does little to give back to the employees. You get tiny raises, no bonuses, you have to use PTO in minimum 4 hour chunks (better hope you get a cool boss so you don't have to waste it), and they even expect employees to provide their "services" outside of the work environment. They seriously have employees help them put up their Christmas decorations at their homes. Mike is friendly, but pass just about any of the others on campus and they pretty much don't even acknowledge you. If you accept a job here I would work really hard to negotiate your salary up. If you start low you'll take a long time to get where you deserve to be. You can make significantly less than a peer that even your boss knows isn't worth more, but they won't bump you up no matter how hard or well you work. There are plenty of great employees here, but it's hindered way too much by the family looking out for themselves and not the betterment of the company as a whole. They spend more time worrying about how a conference room is decorated (horribly, I might add) than how the majority of their employees are doing.

Advice to Management

Have the department managers start focusing on the best employees and finding ways to compensate them for the work they do. The better employees will continue to leave for places that will compensate them and you'll continuously be searching for new employees to fill their places.

I worked at ScriptPro full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Salary not too bad if you can stand all the Cons!

    Cons

    Benefits are not good
Family run so its all about the family right!
Customer Service and Technical customer service jobs are run like a sweat shop with horrible managers who manage by fear and intimidation. They fire people they don't like personally for any reason they can find. Turn over is high for these reasons as well. Many fired but also many leave because of pour family run business. Product is not bad but they treat employees like dirt. They switch schedules on people with less than days notice if ya can't conform you are fired. Play favorites big time and not for the right reasons. People who get more training or more clearance are rewarded with tons more work because they refuse to train enough people or get enough clearance for others. I BET TURNOVER IS AT LEAST 50 PECENT PER YEAR FOR CUSTOMER SERVICE AND TECHNICAL SERVICE

    Advice to Management

PREPARE TO BE UP A CREEK WHEN THE ECONOMY GETS BETTER BECAUSE YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO SURVIVE WITH THAT TURNOVER AND YOUR CUSTOMERS WILL SUFFER.

I have been working at ScriptPro full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

The company treats it's employees pretty well with above average compensation. The work demands are reasonable with moderate deadlines. Everyone seems to get along, at least the people that I deal with.

    Cons

The direction of the company isn't well known by anyone outside "the family" that runs the company. They seem to make decisions on a whim without much forethought as to the future product developments.

    Advice to Management

Make a plan and let the people who develop your products in on that plan. There are many talented people on staff that would be more than willing to push the next generation of products.
