I worked at Sears part-time (More than a year)

Pros

I was able to have a flexible schedule since it was a part-time job, management and other sales people were helpful teaching how operations worked. I like tools so it was easy for me to like the job. Discount at the store.

Cons

They have requirement to sign up credit cards, not great pay but it was just for extra money so not so bad. I spent most of my money I made on new tools

I have been working at Sears full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

Great place to learn. Leave usually at 5pm. Compensation is good.

    Cons

Very Dysfunctional. Favoritism. It's totally a game. Full of clicks. If you don't know someone high up you don't have a chance at being promoted. At times you have nothing to do due to horrible management. They think your busy, but your not. You can only learn so much here. Very high turnover.

    Advice to Management

None. It will never change. They make good money so they don't care and will do whatever it takes to keep their jobs.
