I worked at Sears part-time (Less than a year)

Pros

Coworkers are really nice and help each other out. It's pretty easy to get a job there. You get to meet a bunch of different people.

Cons

employees are overworked and underpaid. Sometimes there aren't enough people working on the floor to get the job done. Supervisors yell at employees for not being able to finish even though there are only two people on the entire floor, besides cashiers

Advice to Management

Hire more employees or give employees a raise. Turnover wouldn't be as high

I have been working at Sears part-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

My manager, and the friends that I made at Sears.

    Cons

VERY LOW PAY, no vacation time, no health benefits, no hours, no appreciation, nothing to work toward.

    Advice to Management

If the workers are happy, the store does a better business. Raises for a job well done, benefits, and encouragement would help this FAILING store.

    Pros

I like the people I work with. My managers always try to work around my busy life and unexpected circumstances. Listen to what I have to say.

    Cons

Lots of pressure to meet many many goals and metrics. I understand that's where the money is but sometimes my best just does not meet the goals.
