No opinion of CEO

I worked at Sears part-time (Less than a year)

Pros

The people in the departments were great and made sure that when I was their responsibility, that I was learning things to help get my job done and were open to answering my questions.

Cons

Administration and HR haven't a clue whats going on. No Communication between them and departments, spent half my time going back and forth between to get simple things done.

Advice to Management

Communicate with departments, and make sure your managers know what they are doing.

I have been working at Sears full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Very professional, Direct questions and answers, Thorough interview, Open and honest. Answered all questions, this is one company that will fight for your salary.

    Cons

Lot of tests required for applicant.

    Advice to Management

I have none at this time. The interviewers were very professional but also manage to put the applicant at ease. I haven't ever had such a good interview. These people were awesome

Working in a department for a long time, and being full time helps out a lot when getting to know everyone.

    Cons

No raises for associates for at least 4 years, been told there is a "pay freeze" every year. Hard to move up, and no motivation to go the extra mile

    Advice to Management

    Show real respect.
