I worked at Security National Automotive Acceptance Corp. full-time

Pros

you get to make your own hours within what the department requires and those very within the department, excellent opportunities to make a good bonus, upper management seems to care about the well being of the employees

Cons

mainly a collections job where a majority of the customer base is current active military, depending what department you start in, if you change departments your pay will be cut switching departments, micromanagement. Very numbers oriented , only one week of training.

Advice to Management

make goals easier to obtain, don't make it more difficult. Be more thorough with training it needs to be at least two weeks long not one week , it needs to be more in depth.

    Pros

The pay was very fair. Yearly reviews and raises, sometimes. Starting pay higher than most call centers in all departments. Salesmen treated the best, along with the contract purchasing department. Collections is a good department. Decent leadership, will help you grow if you want. If you seek assitance and they see that you apply what you learn you are in. The owners are very sweet people and they really care about their employees. They take an interest in you. Also, if company hits goals, huge year end bonus on your check.

    Cons

Very numbers focused. If you can't hit your numbers anywhere else, this might not be the place for you. Call quality is huge and will effect your performance numbers, so be careful there. Things change from month to month. Bonuses are always changing, have lost one or two in mine time there. They really don't take many ideas from the employees, they don't listen to them. Have to work Christmas Eve, so keep that in mind.

    Advice to Management

Quit changing things. When you implement something, let it stand to see how it will work for a while before you go and change it again. Set a bonus structure and keep it there. Lower the numbers so it is actually attainable. Do something about negativity and backstabbing. Listen to what your employees tell you and think about implenting some of it. They are on the phones, you're not.

I worked at Security National Automotive Acceptance Corp. full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

Great coworkers, good pay, good flexibility for needed time off, they have a lot of events and fun things for employees

    Cons

Leads are promoted from within with minimal leadership training before letting them on their own. They want processors to be robots and have a ridiculously high accuracy. When mistake is made they scold you like a child rather than coaching you be better. Management likes to micromanage and in a little too laid back on friendships. The whole company has "cliques" and if you are not in one you are cast aside like you don't matter. They are also very behind on technology and processing paper contracts. They release me procedures on paper without testing or knowing how it will fully work and expect the employees to do it properly.

    Advice to Management

Invest into new technology, vet out processes and new procedures before launching department wide, pay attention to leads and make sure they are truly helping your employees learn and grow rather than telling them an issue and never assisting to resolve it.
