I have been working at Sedgwick Claims Management Services full-time (More than a year)

Pros

Lots of paid time off, company pays for professional training and licensing, laid back work environment.

Cons

No real training program, so many deadbeats work there and it is impossible for supervisors to fire anyone even if they deserve it,

Advice to Management

Start holding people accountable for actually handling claims/taking phone calls

I worked at Sedgwick Claims Management Services full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

Ample PTO but you really don't have time to use it.

    Cons

push down management; top heavy corporate; has no regard for employees or their families. Men get away with the most egregious behavior, women who speak up are fired. Corporate management is full of cronies who do not have a clue what it takes to work on the front line, and worse- don't care. All this company cares about is money

    Advice to Management

Wake up- stop pontificating about putting employee's first and actually do it. Youtreat your front line employees worse than anyone in your company, yet without them you would be nothing. Dave North seems to worry only about being the super PacMan of growth. Good employees will eventually leave or get fired since you have to eventually conclude you have more integrity than the company you work for. Dave North is the equivalent of an absent father who is so busy out making more money he will not realize when his family falls apart.
