Work / Life balance is often imbalanced. The salary could be better. Training / resources on internal systems is lacking.

Advice to Management

I have been working at Sedgwick Claims Management Services full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Job security. It's a very stable company and work environment. On average, most employees have at least 28 paid days off not including holidays.

    Cons

More work than any one person can handle within 7.5 hours. No bonuses period. Depending on the business needs (location or who you know) there's very little career advancement. A person with little experience (level 6) can be promoted to upper management (level 11 or 12) within a year to a newly created role. The same people usually get promoted over and over.

    Advice to Management

Hire more people to get the job done. Promote the people that are continually being passed over.

I have been working at Sedgwick Claims Management Services full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Low cost of benefits, generous paid time off. I work with a great team.

    Cons

No yearly bonus are awarded. Minimal annual merit increases. Needs to grow in Arizona in order to have more opportunities.

    Advice to Management

How do we keep being a TPD that is adaptable to each client as the company grows larger and larger? So far so good but this is the largest TPA by far now and a lot of people are watching.
