    Pros

When going through the campus recruiting process, many aspects of Sendero attracted me. All of my interviews were great, and every person I talked to / interacted with was genuinely someone I could see myself befriending and working well with. Very young culture. Invested in making a difference through service with Community Rocks (pro-bono non-profit consulting work), Paid Volunteer Time, Charitable Giving Matching, etc. Smaller company/family feel. Working on a small project but I get to interact with Associates, Analysts, Managers, and Senior Managers on a daily basis. Mentorship is important - Career Advisory program with an employee 3 skip levels above me, and a Buddy of my same career level to answer any questions. Meaningful work and great people. Work hard play hard mentality!

    Cons

No tuition assistance, lower pay than I was hoping for.

    Pros

    - Growing firm allows you the chance to make a real impact - Open door policy with leadership at all levels in the firm - Career progression opportunities available - Meaningful work

    Cons

    - Lacking some benefits that exist in large firms including tuition reimbursement, extensive parental leave, etc. - Broad experiences are the norm instead of specialization into certain practice areas at lower levels

Very Misleading to Clients and Prospective Employees

    Pros

-Sendero hires the best people, both in business acumen and interpersonal skills -Great internal culture -You will relate to and enjoy working with each person on your projects

    Cons

-As many of the other reviews say, although Sendero calls itself a management consulting firm, the vast majority of the work is mundane, low skill, IT project management work, as part of staff augmentation for a few key clients. This a far cry from true management consulting with a variety of clients and type of work -Very high turnover. The first warning sign I saw of deep issues within Sendero was the very high turnover rate, which hovered around 30% and management didn’t seem to take notice since they knew they could lure in more people to take their place. Hardly anyone I worked with actually enjoyed the work they were doing -Baiting people into working here with the great people and supposed true consulting work, but switching them to the true work they will be doing, which is miserable IT PM work -I was shocked clients payed big $$$ to Sendero to do project management work which is mostly smoke and mirrors. Sendero doesn’t really do any work, they just passively manage projects that developers work on -Most people I worked with were actively trying to leave, but with the non compete you sign, it’s hard to leave unless you exit consulting or move to another city
