Pros

Growth oriented. Goals and objectives for job expectations are spelled out.

Cons

The inner circle at the top is hard to break into. It's challenging finding a voice in the organization - few opportunities to share new ideas, no sense of feedback that signifies ideas are recieved. Message is better to go with the program rather then step away from the pack.

Advice to Management

Recent organizational changes and layoffs may cause good people to consider other like orgnanizations for employment first. Positive press is needed. Better than that - would be a social media following from professionals who openly praise the organization.

    Pros

THE FAMILIES AND EMPLOYEES WE SERVICD.

    Cons

the inappropriate relationships, having favorites, degrading employees...Our team became very paranoid and there was always so much drama that wasn't allowed to get addressed.

    Advice to Management

Treat your employees like you want them to be there and give positive feedback every once in awhile. Take the time to really hear the concerns.

I have been working at Sequel Youth & Family full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

SOM is a nice place to work. If you are looking for experience in the social services field and you have a passion for youth, this is the place for you. The facility is still a little new and there have been some bumps, but the team are really good at fixing them and ironing them out. There is a sense of team work among staff and a true willingness to help the youth that come in.

    Cons

Low pay, but this isn't a field you work in for the money, Stressful, Low Advancement Opportunities

    Advice to Management

    Continue to build moral, listen,
