Pros

For the most part, the people are awesome. The projects have been challenging and rewarding. My experience here should prepare me for moving ahead.

Cons

The company recently, 2-3 years ago, acquired the company SI international. The transition is still on-going and it's been interesting.

    Pros

The people are very nice. Hiring managers are very good at selecting well qualified people to work for the company.

    Cons

The pay is well below average, so turnover is very high. As a result, support services provided through the company, such as travel, are frustrating and processes take way too long.

    Advice to Management

Please take an eager interest in the people you employ. This alone would go a long way to help retention.

    Pros

Serco is a governmant contractor that allows flexable time for family. Excellent education oppertunities as well as industry experts to help with all aspects of your current job and how to grow into higher positions.

    Cons

All work hours are based on contracts. If a contract is at a stopping point due to outside influences then you have no job to do and won't get paid.
