I didn't get a pay increase in 5 years of service even after positive performance reviews and company profits were increasing

Advice to Management

Pay better attention to spouses being direct reports of supervisors at the location level. Take care of your employees that are in front of client base each day rather than middle management. These are the people that make or break your business.

    Pros

    Employees I worked with cared about what they do and the families they served. Location I worked at allowed me the flexibility I needed to take care of my family life when necessary.

    Cons

    Pay is way too low for the type of professionalism the company hopes to convey. In this industry, "you get what you pay for" isn't going to pay off in the long term---image will suffer. This is an issue that can only be addressed by those in corporate.

    Advice to Management

    Look for hidden talent in current employees and utilize that resource.

    The money can be good.

    Cons

    They have no problem shutting down departments to save money even though it exposes them to lackluster & lesser-trained employees doing the work. If you work here, keep your resume updated.

    Advice to Management

    Chose investing in your employees more than shuttering depts.
