I worked at ServiceMaster full-time (More than 3 years)

Pros

Highly flexible work schedule with relaxed dress code and office environment. Some reimbursement for gas and vehicle expenses with company cell phone provided free of charge.

Cons

Poor base salary with confusing commission structure which varied at the whim of owner. Poor communication of necessary information to accomplish duties. Lack of professional workplace (dogs running around, etc.) and no overall coordination of effort or establishment of strategy for success.

Advice to Management

Needs to establish focus of effort and business structure to set and monitor progress toward goals and reign in wasteful spending.

    Pros

    The company has great Mission Statements and intent.

    Cons

    The actual business units do not feel any support within the Mission Statements. The bottom line is the only concern. Customers and Employees do not matter. Very disheartening.

    Advice to Management

    Show some love to the customers and the employees. Pay for performance not politics. This company was a leading company for employment and has dropped to the last company on earth that any one would recommend.
