I have been working at ServiceNow full-time (More than a year)

Pros

You get to work with really talented people in a fast paced environment that embraces new technology and innovation. Great compensation with a flexible work environment.

Cons

The software has a lot of legacy baggage that you have to deal with as a developer. Lots of undocumented "gotchas" where the developer who worked on it is no longer around.

Advice to Management

Keep innovating

    Pros

    * Growing fast
    * Hiring talented people with a good attitude. Everyone gets along for the most part.
    * Free lunch Friday and lots of free snacks
    * Good training
    * Several locations in CA to work at
    * Work from home allowed sometimes
    * With financial success comes good bonuses and few restrictions on things like travel
    * Company is extremely competitive in the industry with poor/declining competition

    Cons

    * No transportation subsidies (train/bus)
    * No 401K matching
    * UI is old

    Advice to Management

    * Invest more in usability and user experience

    Pros

    Snacks in the cafeteria, food on friday.

    Self driving working.

    Management doesn't micro-manage

    Lots of room for personal growth.

    Tremendous amounts of knowledge to be gained

    Cons

    Management can be indecisive, but these are usually small things that don't matter too much. Everybody has a lot on their plates due to the incredible growth. Which is a good thing!
