Corporate company, great benefits, I had a number of great opportunities

Corporate - little autonomy. Are run by Severn Trent Water - who have so much red tape I'm suprised they function

    I worked at Severn Trent Services full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

    Great Company to work for. Management in this division advocated for their staff. Management created a team like atmosphere, we all worked together to help each other.

    Cons

    Company had several divisions, ( from property management to wastewater) if one division was not managed well, it not only hurt that division but it would hurt the company as a whole due to all divisions/entities being under the same company name even though they were completely different business models.

    Advice to Management

    Listen to your front line people. If you have the right people in the right positions doing the right things.... listen to them they know what your clients/customers are saying.
