The one positive thing that has come from the helm of the company was who they hired to carry their entire operation. I've never met a group of harder working individuals who were eager to not only launch their professional careers, but put in the work to catapult this start up. It's unfourtent that every valiant effort from the staff was shut down at every turn by the CEO. Any position here is only suitable for someone just starting out in the industry or plans to be an intern for the next 3 years. If you're serious about your career, don't even consider this place as an opportunity to grow.
Cons
The two biggest forces at Shop Jeen are the least experienced, skilled, and practical people I have ever seen have the opportunity to run a company. From day to day work atmosphere, to delegation, all the way basic managerial decision making, the upper teir always has been, and always will be the demise of this company.

New and exciting products from hard to find vendors. A growing team from diverse backgrounds. LGQT supports who encourage individuality. They give people a chance to break into the tech/eCommerce field (employees and vendors)
Cons
Growing pains. It is easy to have an idea, but so hard to put it together. And that's what they are doing right now.

At Shop Jeen, the management was ill educated of how to operate and care for its employees.

The employees were great. I look forward to going to work every day, to work with such motivated, hard working, and fun, positive people. There are always good office vibes when the CEO is not in. Every one works very hard while being a great group of friends.
Cons
The CEO has no idea how to operate a business. She is very disrespectful of her current employees, demands extra weekend/holiday work from them without appropriate compensation. In addition to this, she is the most unprofessional employer I have ever worked with. There is no policy manual, or contract given to employees. She does not value her staff. All employees have 2 or 3 separate job titles to their name, yet are paid less than would even be acceptable for 1 of these positions. Her employees are willing to go above and beyond for her, yet she consistently abuses their loyalty. She demands that many of her employees work over the weekend from home, yet does not pay them more or give adequate bonuses. Note that their are no benefits offered to employees.
