Pros

Sales training and career development

Cons

Internal favoritism, politics, and hidden agendas.

Advice to Management

Have an accurate way to manage performance- there was no monthly report of status to quota- it was all semi-annual. be much less political- the hidden agendas are numerous and easily seen by employees.

    Pros

Fascinating markets and customers who buy from Siemens Industry due to the highest levels of quality and leading-adge engineering. Senior management focuses on identifying and developing high potentials, leading to leadership programs, mentoring, special international and stratech assignments. A diverse company - many countries, many people, wide breadth of portfolio and job opportunities.

    Cons

Sometimes too big, and the subsequent bueaucracy which comes with that - inherent in a global company. But not as bad as many large complex, multi-divisional conglomerates I have worked for in the last 20 years (3).

    Advice to Management

Continue to seek out the potential talent and move quickly into the pipeline. Continue to recruit diverse candidates, and to promote more international assignments (and not just to Germany).
