I worked at Siemens full-time (More than 5 years)

Pros

There was a wide diversity of customers, and therefore technical experience at each site. A different challenge everyday. Cutting edge automation technology.

Cons

The company emphasis was on growth, and at the branch level that was done by cutting salaries. No loyalty to employees who have given years on promises of raises in the future. Classic case of pushing employees to do more for less. I didn't realize how underpaid I was until I left. 10K less!

Advice to Management

Live up to your promises, treat your people as equals. More carrot, less stick.
