    Negative Outlook

I have been working at Siemens full-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

The common training imparted to freshers at the start of their careers delves deep into automation, switchgear, motors and drives among other topics - very useful once they start working in factories.

    Cons

    Low pay.
Majority of the employees hail from Maharashtra - the cultural diversity is far less than what you expect in an organsation of its size.
Minimum 9 working hours/day, regardless of the actual time spent doing something productive.
6 working days in factories - adversely affects work-life balance.

    Advice to Management

Do not judge the amount of wok done by an employee by the time he/she spends at work.
Reduce number of working days to 5 per week, regardless of the function and location.
Actively hire from states other than Maharashtra to improve cultural diversity.
