    Doesn't Recommend
    No opinion of CEO

    Pros

I feel I earn a very good salary and get a nice benefits package--that's what's kept me around so long--often it's been the only thing keeping me there

    Cons

Very unprogressive policies, often no flexibility with schedule or work location (they want everyone to relocate and be in the office every day)--they value visibility at the office and in meetings over actually getting results and meeting objectives. This limits greatly their available talent pool and fosters the wrong morale. They are driven by innovation and new product development, NOT by market needs--they do not have adequate customer focus to have sustainable success in the division I'm in.

Also, there is limited upward mobility in the company unless you are either 1)able to do a temporary stint in Germany or 2) you are a man. They constantly pass over qualified women in favor of promoting underqualified men--not that ALL of the male managers are underqualified (not true), but I have seen this happen several times over the few years I have been there

    Advice to Management

don't oversimplify current challenges or the solutions to those challenges--ask questions to find out what the working staff actually does and you will benefit from that. Get with the times with regard to your policies, and start respecting the talent that's onboard and do more to keep those people

  2. "They promote work/life balance but don't give you the resources for it"

    - Stability that comes with a Fortune 500 company

    Cons

    - Not enough resources provided to support work/life balance
    - Too much paperwork and checks/balances makes for inefficient processes

    Advice to Management

Hire more people, specifically systems and service specialists.
