    Pros

Signant is a good place to get a lay of the land in this industry. They have fairly good basics, and the work they do is comparable to other companies. You'll be busy while you're there, and you can develop some good contacts, and learn a lot if you want to. There are good health benefits, and PTO that increases the longer you stay - you can get over a month of PTO every year if you stay 5+years.

    Cons

I would not recommend staying at Signant for longer than 1-3 years. You won't get the promotions you deserve when you deserve it, they'll ask you to stick it out doing work above your pay grade 'for just a while longer' that ultimately lasts over a year - this has happened consistently for many different people while I've been there. They will consistently underpay you the longer you stay - when I accepted a position with the same title at a competitor, their initial offer was 25% higher than my salary at Signant. You will burn out - dealing with difficult clients, terrible SOP enforcement, and no support because everyone else is similarly burnt out. Terrible onboarding practices. Finally, the straw that broke the camel's back for me was their 'diversity' programs. POC employees introduced several educational initiatives that were given no budgetary or leadership support. In 2021, calm and professional discussion in the company slack regarding leadership not fulfilling promises made during June of 2020 resulted in 10+ employees receiving written disciplinary warnings for discussing "activist content", and warned that the next notice could result in termination.
