I have been working at Signature HealthCARE full-time

Pros

Some genuinely nice and hardworking people who care about the elderly

Cons

Arrogant and isolated senior management that doesn't always walk the talk

Advice to Management

Stop telling everyone how compassionate and spiritual you are and let your actions speak for themselves. Open your eyes to the real motives and behavior of some key leaders. Work harder to bridge the divide between the "Old Guard" and the "New Guard" by holding both groups accountable.

I worked at Signature HealthCARE full-time (More than 3 years)

    Pros

I loved this job, always believed it was given to me by God. I moved for this job. I love working with the older population.

    Cons

In fear of losing revenue if the paperwork isn't 'just right', a big push to use their boxed phrases, and to set goals in order to receive reimbursement; not always suited for patient's actual needs or to realize potential capabilities, in case it doesn't work out ie: pt. unable to achieve goal
they advertise to be spiritually based, but on the inside, they don't act it, and often employees are stretched beyond their limits to do more than their job description daily; the mental and physical fatigue factor is huge

    Advice to Management

when you want to train people for paperwork updates when Medicare makes updates, give them the time to do it and make sure that there is one on one interaction and follow up to ensure understanding without expecting 80 percent productivity for evaluating therapists on days of training
