I have been working at Sikorsky full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Quite a number of great and dedicated co workers with few bad apples in key positions.

    Cons

The only way to get ahead is if happen to be related to someone in higher management positions. Internal posting are usually written for someone in mind and within the inner circles. Stresses ethical behavior with lots of yearly required training but all is to masquerade the facts. If you are over 40 years olds start looking over your shoulder because you likely will be laid off by the time you become 50 years old.

    Advice to Management

Read your own advertised claims and practice what you preach, treat people fairly.

I worked at Sikorsky as an intern (Less than a year)

    Pros

Real hands on work from the first day of the internship all the way until the last day of work. Learned a lot

    Cons

There was not necessarily a structured mentor program to ensure that I was learning what I had to learn to be successful. Mentorship was more informal
