Neutral Outlook
No opinion of CEO

I have been working at Silver Spring Networks full-time (More than 3 years)

Pros

Great concept, helping the environment, green company

Cons

No training or management. Most managers have low EQ and are so rushed and pressured, there is no training or leading within the organization. With our contracts, we agree to more than we can handle.

Advice to Management

Don't bite off more than you can chew and hire more resources, not more managers. SSN is too top heavy for a small organization

I worked at Silver Spring Networks full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

+ Build a storng base and strong brand
+ Great legacy clientele. Making good inroads into Asia and Brazil.

    Cons

    - Not reaching out to potential customer enough
    - Product specs are in favour of competitors, because THEY bothered to invest time on customers and customers' advisors
    - A non-cohesive firmware, hardware and manufacturing team. The term 'your team, your side' is often heard in meetings. Guys we are on the SAME TEAM.

    Advice to Management

    1. Pay more attention to customers and their advisors.
    2. Make quick decisions on internal management structure
