The company culture is very friendly and open. We communicate well and work cohesively. We are not made to feel like part of the "corporate machine" and because of that we care about what we do to affect the success of our team and our company as a whole. We are currently making so many improvements... What are cons now are going to be illuminated with the upgrades going on over the next 6 months...

Advice to Management

Continue to appreciate the individual and make progress where progress is due, which we see happening around us everyday!

    I have been working at Silverleaf Resorts full-time (More than a year)

    Pros

    The only good is working with a bunch of awesome people. I never have worked in a place where everyone has each others back as much as they do here.

    Cons

    Unless you are willing to sell yourself by any means necessary (yes, I mean in any way necessary), you really are no use in the NYK market. The people who I have seen promoted in this company are the ones who are willing to use the company as an escort service. By this I mean, dressing in way too short of a skirt, and way to tight clothing, and pretty much have sex screaming from you are the ones who got promoted. The NYK market believes in spying on their employees to try and "catch them in the act." All the management in the NYK really needs to be replaced. They do not train anyone properly and treat their employees unfairly. They tend to lean towards the bullying method. They will leave nasty texts or messages, where they belittle you for not making their expectations on sales or leads that day.

    Advice to Management

    All management in the NYK market needs to be replaced, and start over fresh. Treat your employees with respect they deserve and remember they are human.

    Very repetitive and must be very outgoing to get a bonus
