Pros
Simplicity has Enterprise & Strategic level clients with whom their consultants are deployed. This allows consultants to get hands-on experience with this client base which spans various sectors.
Cons
TLDR: The benefit of Simplicity as a consulting firm just isn't there. They take a large margin and give little in return. Once the firm matches you with a client you have only two recurring touchpoints with your employer: 1. Monthly company-wide meetings where leadership hypes up the same empty sentiments about why Simplicity is so great. 2. Occasional meetings with your CSM. There are/were no meaningful professional development resources, and the CSMs are so disengaged to almost forget renewals. Lastly, their compensation negotiation is shady. The consultants are the last to be involved and often days before a contract is supposed to be signed leaving us stuck with too little pay and no time to negotiate. While there is no explicit mention of what margin Simplicity takes the % I understood them to take is entirely unjustified for what little value they provide.
