I worked at Six Flags part-time (More than 3 years)

Pros

Kind people, fast-paced, enjoyable, unique

Cons

bad compensation, cheezy rewards, non-sincere compliments, poor training philosophy

Advice to Management

Supervisors should be getting paid more that those they supervise; give good compliments to employees that deserve it, not just to everyone because they are an employee; know and practice and teach your supervisors the difference between favoritism and trust; cut down how long it takes to become a supervisor by having less steps; instead of waiting for discipline issues to arise, simulate a fake one so supervisors can finish their training; give rewards to employees that don't take all year to "earn."

I worked at Six Flags part-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Meeting and making new friends. Thats all that i can think of

    Cons

Too many too list. My department was a game of politics. When your with a company 5 years and see one .10 raise, have to work out in the weather not having the back of mangement. Not knowing how you did on a promotion test, having someone who has been with the company 3 months get promoted over people with years of expirence. Breaks are done very bad breaks should be done 1st come 1st serve, but not in this place a person comes in at 10 gets a break at 12 leaves at 4, another person comes in at 8 gets a break at 2 leaves at 4.

Get use to fights with supervsiors about your shift, after being here 5 years i am glad i left the company.

    Advice to Management

Fix your department mangement, start over and do things fairly.
