I have been working at Six Flags part-time (Less than a year)

Pros

- Management is great, and will always be there if you need them
- Free entry to the park and a 15% discount
- Very flexible scheduling

Cons

- A bit of favoritism with the managers depending on the department
- Very strict dress code (won't be able to clock in for the littlest things)
- Can get very stressful with the amount of guests that constantly approach you

Advice to Management

Drop the red dot system. I got a fair number of red dots, but it easily gets too competitive between departments and employees. The employees who didn't get red dots often felt inferior as an employee.

I have been working at Six Flags full-time (More than 5 years)

    Pros

Working at a theme park lends itself to a unique work setting, fun co-workers, and lots of variety in the workday.

    Cons

Very poorly managed company. The company spends lots of money on some things and nothing on others. Cheap just doesn't describe it well enough. Lots of dryrotted, leaking, moldy trailers and buildings. Air conditioning and heating is a luxury that not all of the offices have.

    Advice to Management

Investing in the companies' facilities and employees will take the company to the next level.

I worked at Six Flags part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

-Coworkers were amazing, they were the only reason I liked to come to work.
-Work was pretty easy as a security officer, but there's always good times and bad times.
-during the summer season and Halloween you will get ridiculous hours, but after that no so much.

    Cons

-if you don't like working in the heat, don't apply during the summer.
-if you don't like walking up and down hills all day, don't apply to security.
    -quests can be stupid sometimes.
    -few hours during offseason.

    Advice to Management

no advice, they were actually friendly and accommodating.
