I worked at Six Flags part-time (Less than a year)

Pros

Experienced senior staff, seasonal growth opportunities, great enviroment, fun perks, team member only parties, opportunities to network, fair scheduling

Cons

Seasonal employment for the most part, difficult to break into full time because of small head count and low turnover.

Advice to Management

Keep striving to build and retain dependable teams. Be a world class leader, not a manager, and it will reflect in your team.

    Pros

Working at an amusement park can be a lot of fun. Six Flags is also really trying to make improvements.

    Cons

There always seem to be money constraints. Many projects are never truly completed due to insufficient funds, and this can be demoralizing to employees.

    Advice to Management

I would suggest having better long range planning. Capitol decisions seem to be made on a year to year basis, with no long range plan in place for anything that might take longer to design and build.
