I worked at Six Flags full-time (More than 10 years)

    Pros

They will let you take on as many projects as you would like! My skill set grew a lot while working there because I applied myself. If your young and looking for titles and experience its not a bad starter!

    Cons

Pay, work hours are very demanding = no life!

    Advice to Management

Make sure your entry salary is close to what you need because once your in its very hard to get them to budge on a raise. Be ready for long hours! The place will own you!

I have been working at Six Flags full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Unique, challenging and constantly varied work place. Perks depend on park but great place to get experience early on in your work life.

    Cons

Very little investment at some properties for employee services and employee used facilities. Sometimes too little control by the Corporate leadership. Too much emphasis on reducing spending to the point that issues are neglected until they are major problems.

    Advice to Management

Continue to utilize team member surveys to drive change at the properties. Focus on retaining seasonal and full time staff.
