Positive Outlook

I have been working at Six Flags part-time (More than a year)

Pros

Plenty of employees, so can request and usually receive days off if needed. Can pick up extra shifts.

Cons

Plenty of employees (and always hiring weather needed or not) so not always enough hours. Only food service employees can buy lunch break meals for $1. Employee fired for no call/no show, even after she came in with Dr's note saying she was in hospital with concussion.

Advice to Management

Take employees thoughts, feelings, etc in to consideration, not just guests and share holders!

I worked at Six Flags part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

-Meeting new people from all over the world.
    -Fast pace environment
-Employee incentives (free admission, discounts, parties, etc)
    -Easy to advance

    Cons

-You dont get many hours at the beginning of the season.
-Overstaffed at beginning of the season, understaffed at the end of the season
    -Lots of lazy supervisors

    Advice to Management

Stop hiring so many people at the beginning of the season because we barely get any hours. Start hiring more people towards the end of the season because Fright Fest is a nightmare when there's not enough team members working.

    Cons

Dress code can be strict, cashier register machines can give a problem, a lot of protocols in retail

    Advice to Management

Try to work with employees more
