I worked at Six Flags full-time (Less than a year)

Pros

Was a Great experience. There is opportunity to advance if you stay with the company long enough. Fun environment. Would work there again if i was in the area and need a job.

Cons

Took a while to get the training started. After being hired took at least 3 weeks to get everything started and going.

I have been working at Six Flags part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

    - Free admission for you and a friend
    - Pretty cool guests
    - Pretty cool co-workers and supervisors/leads.

    Cons

    - Sometimes little hours
    - Rude guests, not for you if you're not a people person.

    Advice to Management

I know there is high turnover, but dont overhire please. :)

    Neutral Outlook

    Pros

You can get a lot of hours, depending on what department you work in. There are also some perks like going to park for free plus a guest, discounts, and occasional free tickets.

    Cons

Encountering irate customers, a lot of standing/walking, working in heat and rain, but that's not anything surprising. Young supervisors who are too concerned with having fun and just saying that they are a supervisor, and handling important issues.
