I worked at Six Flags part-time (Less than a year)

Pros

Paid weekly, work with people your age (if you are a teenager), good hours

Cons

If you work in Games you will feel lonely, if you work in Food Service expect to go above and beyond what is written in the job duties

Advice to Management

Employees should feel valued. I know there are hundreds of employees working for Six Flags but there needs to be improvements on the incentives and employee rewards system.

I worked at Six Flags part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Staff was friendly for the most part, free park entry and buddy passes, staff café was pretty good most of the time

    Cons

Very long hours, even if you weren't scheduled to you would always work until close. They scheduled me for days I told them that I could not work and then made a fuss when I asked them to change it. Had to wait two hours for a bathroom break because attractions were often understaffed, you have to buy your own uniform. Be prepared to get a sunburn.

    Advice to Management

Pay attention to the needs of your staff, also hire more people so current employees are not over worked.

  2. "decent summer job"

    Pros

    fun work environment. Great people.

    Cons

having to wear a uniform. Going thru HR to clock in and then thru security is a pain. Have to clock in early to get to venue by start time but they wont let you clock in too early.

    Advice to Management

Going thru a 4 hour discovery year after year is unnecessary and a waste of time
