I worked at Six Flags part-time (More than 3 years)

Pros

You have a very high chance of being hired.

Cons

Limited options for promotions/growth

Limited options to protect your self from angry consumers

On average it is 6-7 dollars to get food and if the break is less then 8 hours you only get 30 minutes

Lack of sense in regards to whether or not you matter at all to the company

Advice to Management

More register training for the older style registers

    Pros

There is much more work to be done while school is closed; many students and teachers work at Six Flags for that very reason.

    Cons

It doesn't matter if you work year-round; you're labeled as a seasonal employee so that the company can save money on overtime pay. No bonuses pay, even during a 30+ hour shift (rare, but happens).

    Advice to Management

Spend more on routine maintenance for buildings; many buildings in the park look very outdated and unsightly.
