I worked at Six Flags part-time (Less than a year)

Pros

Great learning experience. You experience something different everyday. Really enjoyed the perks that came with the position at Six Flags Fiesta Texas: free everyday admission to the park plus a guest, discounts, and free tickets.

Cons

Management needs major improvement. They do not care about the employees; they only want the job to get done. There is a lot of walking and working in the heat. Be prepared to get horrible tan lines and sunburn.

Advice to Management

Again, management needs major improvement. They are not professional and lack proper training in all departments.

I worked at Six Flags part-time (Less than a year)

    Pros

Discounts at the park, free park access and buddy pass, then four free tickets after 200 hours of service

    Cons

Can be hot, noisy, and managers can pull you away from your site to train for other rides. Be adaptable and ready to be in a completely different environment. Minimal pay

    Advice to Management

Show more encouragement. Sometimes a little goes a long way while standing up all day with strangers.

Many hour, including swing shifts, easy to make 3 to 400 dollars a week.
many young people: you will make lots of friends.
some or the customers are really funny.
    Food is really good.
    Free admission and buddy passes.
    Advancement.

    Cons

Some of the supervisors were really annoying and mean.
In retail, you didn't get to choose which store you wanted to work in or with who so mos of the times you were just by yourself.
Sometimes they cut your shifts short.
    Heat.
    Items are really expensive.
Employee services are really strict (no nail polish, black or white shoes, etc.)
