I have been working at Sky full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Great pay for an entry level job not requiring a degree etc Ability to make up to £400 per month in bonuses Great benefits like free Sky, Christmas gift, food on occasions

    Cons

Soul crushing Customers can be really horrible as in any job but you get a lot of them in succession Everything is recorded and monitored and it feels like you’re being spied on and if you’re not absolutely 100% perfect at everything (and nobody can be) you’ll get pulled up about it and interrogated about how you think you could improve Can be demeaning - customers and management So many people I know developed anxiety and depression working there, dreading the next call coming in If you had any time off sick you had to have a “back to work interview” to find out why you were off, if they can “support” you or do anything to help etc but it’s actually a pretty intimidating process and although they say the right words everyone always felt like it was an interrogation and to try put you off ever being absent again

I have been working at Sky full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

free TV, some staff are brilliant people

    Cons

Where do I start!! This company is dangerous! The management openly take drugs at their desks - and DO NOT question them over anything or you will be bullied out. There are extra marital affairs going on everywhere, and god help you if you are a girl - Team leaders feel its totally acceptable to grope staff and talk about their bodies in a demeaning way. The quicker I am out of here the better!

    Advice to Management

Take a long, hard look at your staff! you are well away of the affairs that are happening and the favouritism that is shown to the people sleeping with Team leaders - but ignore it. Also, the drug culture is beyond shocking! and this has been mentioned in several reviews here! I have personally been offered drugs by a Team leader and a Team manager like it was such a normal thing. Its getting to the stage that I feel it needs to be mentioned to the police!
