I worked at Skyhorse Publishing full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Summer Fridays were nice to have I wore jeans to work everyday which was awesome Work life balance was reasonable Lots of young people right out of college so you feel the love that employees have towards what they do

    Cons

Management is unprofessional and inexperienced For almost an entire year, they had no Human Resources Department, I heard they hired a part time person for this position Lots of inter company dating causing conflicts of interest Sexual harassment is an issue at this company SO MUCH turnover... constant new people You might come to work and find out an entire department was fired They take attendance and check what time...

    Skyhorse Publishing Response

    February 11, 2018Human Resources

Individuals who comprise Skyhorse management have decades of experience in publishing, and well over a century of experience when combined. All are very professional and competent. It's not worth going tooth for tooth through the allegations of this review because they are groundless, ...

      Pros

Summer Fridays! Free Bagels. The office is super close to Penn Station. 9 to 5:30 work week.

      Cons

It felt a lot like high school... Turnover like you wouldn't believe. This place is quite the giggle when it comes to hiring and firing. In the time that I was there the entire publicity department quit, a new team was hired, and then shortly...
