Pros

Great sales managers and fellow employees, very open to new ideas. As long as you are doing your job they will not micromanage you. It is a great place to work.

Cons

Compensation is the only downside to working there..

I have been working at Skype full-time (More than 8 years)

    Pros

Microsoft's Skype office in Stockholm had a great team with fantastic colleagues to work with, working on a product that revolutionized communication.
Beautiful office with an open atmosphere.

    Cons

As with most acquisitions, Microsoft did in the long run a poor job in keep driving innovation and user value, and instead keeps people busy with integration projects and merging of tech-stacks.

    Advice to Management

Don't lay off an entire site of experienced software engineers, but find a new agenda for them instead - Microsoft has lots of work and unused opportunities ahead.
