Pros

The best reasons to give in and work at SCUSA would be for Mattress discounts, Christmas holiday party, Comission sales. Foster kids are acknowledged and items can be donated at any location.

Cons

Micro-management, follow the leader workmanship, sign here...here...and there. Sociological games. Manadatory weekend working especially on holidays excluding x-mas and thx-giving. Once again; The Company's best interest and true color's (money green) will be revealed within anywhere from 6 days to 6 months

    Pros

    You can get a really nice bed for dirt cheap. The work is not hard at all. If you like the sit and wait for a customer to come. Then this place is for you.

    Cons

    Long hours for the pay. You get moved around from store to store at a moments notice. You have no control over your pay check you just have to sit and wait for someone to come into the store. If your at a slow store, you will not make that much money at all.

    Advice to Management

    The district managers need to be reviewed. The same way the regular employees are. They way that people are moved all the time in the district is really not a good thing to do.

    Pros

    You will receive initial and ongoing training that will provide you with sufficient skills to begin your business. Staying in Sales is your best bet for earning potential when in smaller stores.

    Cons

    Management is promoted only for driving numbers not necessarily understanding or being trained in professional business standards or communications. Individuals are not always business trained nor is there a high degree of upward mobility beyond a potential store management position within a 5 plus year time frame.
