        Pros

        Great vision/mission statement: "The increase and diffusion of knowledge"; learn how museums, scientific research institutions and zoos operate behind the scenes; many interesting and knowledgeable colleagues; good job security; good leadership (Secretary Lonnie Bunch).

        Cons

        As with many large organizations, can be bureaucratic and slow to change. Although many long term employees are wonderful, some can be territorial.

        Learning and Development Specialist

        I feel like this interviewing over one-way video is stopping me from further evaluation. If I have been interviewed in person or via two-way video interview, I have always received the position or at very least an offer. However, when given one-way video interviews I have never received a second interview or offer. Does anyone else feel this is a issue?
